Over the last few years I've become what you might call a cocktail enthusiast. I buy the specialty cocktail books, have amazing drinks at speakeasy style bars in LA and NY, and then recreate these drinks for friends and family.
Naturally this led me to my latest series of paintings depicting the classic drinks and culture surrounding them. I can't think of a better way to share this old world revival than with classically painted oil paintings, using traditional materials.

Once again beautifully rendered lighting. Hands are difficult to paint convincingly but these look effortless. Great job.
